Military & Veterans
Put your credentialing benefits to work.
The remote pilot certificate is a civilian credential many service members and veterans can fund through programs they already have.
Three steps to fund it
- Check your programYour service's COOL site, or the VA's WEAMS licensing and certification listings.
- Talk to your education officeConfirm what is covered and which vendors and costs qualify.
- Request military pricingUse the form below. We reply within one business day.
Programs to ask about
- 1Service credentialing programs (COOL)
Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard credentialing programs can help active-duty, Guard and Reserve members pay for approved civilian credentials, including the FAA remote pilot certificate. Coverage and approved vendors vary by service. Start with your service's COOL site and your education office.
- 2VA licensing and certification test reimbursement
Eligible veterans can use GI Bill benefits to be reimbursed for approved licensing and certification test fees. Search the VA's WEAMS licensing and certification listings to confirm the FAA test is covered for you. Reimbursement covers the test fee, not study materials. VA also approves some test-preparation courses; Aneroid Press is not on that list yet. VA fact sheet (opens in a new tab), DoD COOL (opens in a new tab)
- 3Unit and installation orders
Education centers, units and transition programs can order sets in quantity with a purchase order or government purchase card.
Aneroid Press is working toward approved-vendor status with the service credentialing programs. We will list each program here as it is confirmed. Until then, ask your education counselor whether our materials qualify under your program's rules.
