Study on your phone

Add Aneroid Press to your phone, tablet or computer in a few seconds. It opens from your home screen like any app, keeps working without a signal and costs nothing.

How it worksThis is not a program you download or run. Your own browser adds Aneroid Press to your home screen, the same way it saves a bookmark. Nothing is installed on your computer, the app asks for no special permissions, and you can remove it like any other app icon.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The app is free. Paid products, like the Exam Engine and the Digital Set, work in the app the same way they do on the website.

Do I need an account or an app store?

No. There is no app store, no sign-in and no download. Your browser handles everything.

What does it have access to on my device?

Nothing beyond what any web page has. It does not ask for your contacts, photos, camera or location. If you use the Flight Weather tool, your browser asks before sharing your location, the same as on the website.

Where is my practice progress kept?

On your own device, exactly as on the website. We do not collect it.

How do I remove it?

On iPhone and iPad, press and hold the icon and choose Remove App. On Android, press and hold the icon and choose Uninstall or Remove. On a computer, open the app's menu and choose Uninstall.

What it is for

Practice is worth more than rereading, and it travels better.

A test you sit beats a chapter you reread, and the gap widens the longer it is until the exam. The engine is built for that: short sessions you can take anywhere, with the reason every option is right or wrong, and whatever you keep missing brought back around.

  • 1,447 practice questions, each with the reason every option is right and every other one is wrong.
  • Nothing to install and no account. Your progress is kept on your own device, not on our servers.
  • Original questions. The FAA keeps its active test questions confidential, so no practice question from any publisher is a real one.
